A CHARITY has expanded its network of fundraising shops to Carmarthen to help boost its coffers.

Swansea-based Cancer Information and Support Services (CISS) has opened a new store in Blue Street. It already has shops in place in Uplands, Swansea, and Neath.

The new store is aimed at securing extra funding to boost the charity's services in Carmarthenshire.

Vicki Jones, community fundraiser for CISS, said: "The new shop has secured funding for our outreach service in Carmarthenshire and we also have a room in the shop where people with cancer can receive counselling."
