GOLDEN couple Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas could not contain their excitement at the Oscars following the Swans win.
Swansea-born actress Catherine said she was delighted with Swansea City's League Cup triumph.
She was attending the Oscars in Los Angeles but got up early to watch the match.
"It was one of the best things to happen today," she said.
Her husband Michael was also raving about the win to reporters on the red carpet.
He said: "Swansea's won, haven't you heard? Very happy."
Catherine along with Welsh songstress Shirley Bassey took to the stage at the 85th annual Academy Awards in Hollywood.
The theme of the ceremony was musical theatre and Catherine opened up the musical tributes with a performance of All That Jazz from the 2002 musical adaptation of the popular Broadway show Chicago.
It was a 10 years ago when the 43-year-old won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 2003 for her part in the movie of the musical Chicago, playing Velma Kelly.
