Catch popular artist on her tour
THAT extremely popular jazz singer, Marlene VerPlanck, is currently on her annual UK tour.
Next Wednesday, at 8.30pm, she will return to sing at Swansea Jazzland's presentation at the St James Social Club in Uplands.
Over many years, Marlene has built up a strong reputation for her lyrical ballad singing and captivating up-tempo numbers.
She will be accompanied by the Swansea Jazzland house rhythm trio led by Dave Cottle.

Another American, trumpeter Modesto Briseno from the West Coast, who has visited these shores before, is also on a short tour of Wales. He can be heard on Wednesday at a Span Jazz presentation in the Dingle Club, Jesse Road, Narberth, with drummer, John Gibbon's Trio.
