MORE councils and colleges have been revealing what they will spend their Welsh government cash windfall on.

The government is splashing out £3.8 million on schools and further education colleges across south Wales.

Neath Port Talbot College is receiving £449,797 which a spokeswoman said would be spent on a backlog of maintenance work, Disability Discrimination Act work and legislative work.

Swansea Council said the £978,179 it would receive for schools in its area would support delivery of its Quality in Education 2020 school improvement programme.
