Cash boost set to support traders
HOPES have been raised of transforming Burry Port and Pembrey into thriving seaside towns with the help of grant funding.
Traders are being encouraged to take the first step to a brighter future by applying for Town Improvement Grants worth up to £15,000.

The grants aim to support businesses in improving their property fronts, and forum chairman Hefin Williams said the area was "fortunate" to have secured the funding.
"This is the first step towards a brighter future for our town," he said.

"The vision we have for the town centre is for the businesses to improve their frontages with the addition of new colourful canopies and new colourful painted walls.
"The forum wants to get the area back to be a thriving seaside town and together, we believe, we can make the town an attractive and pleasant place to shop and somewhere that visitors and holiday- makers would like to return to having had a pleasant time," he added.
