CWMGWRACH Under-8s beat Glyncorrwg 9-8 in a free-flowing encounter.

Home side Cwmgwrach struck first, with some great passing skills setting up Matthew Whiles to open the scoring.

There were further touchdowns for Joshua Castaldi (2 ), Cian John and Cai Davies to put the Neath Valley team 5-4 ahead at the break.

The second half was similarly open, with both sides passing superbly and Cwmgwrach players Brandon Jones and Carys Chattington — who also scored a try in a player-of-the-match performance — tagging anything that moved.
