Carmarthenshire Council plans to film future meetings in 12-month pilot scheme.
COUNCIL meetings could be broadcast live in Carmarthenshire, after plans for a pilot scheme were announced.
A presentation was given to members of the cross party Business Management Group last week for live streaming of full council meetings for 12-months, which would enable people to view proceedings as they happen.
The footage will also be available to view on the county council website after the meetings.
Expected to cost around £20,000 per year, the pilot project is being funded through a Welsh Government grant, but must go before full council for approval.

The grant will also provide funding for improvements to town and community council websites.
The move follows the findings of a task and finish group, set up by the council to look at how new technology can improve customer service.
Council Leader Councillor Kevin Madge said the scheme would give people more access, and is part of the council's commitment to open and transparent government.
A date is yet to be determined for the start of the pilot scheme, but it will begin in the near future.
