Cardiff City Head of Recruitment Alisher Apsalyamov steps aside over visa issue
CARDIFF City have hit the headlines for off the field matters, ahead of Sunday's South Wales derby.
The Bluebirds' head of recruitment Alisher Apsalyamov is reported to have stepped aside over a visa issue.
The news comes on the same day that Swansea City reported a profit of £15million.
Apsalyamov, the 23-year-old Kazakh hit the headlines in October when he replaced Iain Moody as the club's chief scout.
It is beleived that Apsalyamov has visa documentation to support an internship, although Cardiff City is thought to be confident any issues will be resolved quickly.
Apsalyamov is thought to be a friend of Cardiff owner Vincent Tan’s son, and has no known experience of top-class football
