Café wall prevents bay view
WE recently popped in for a coffee at the Bay Watersports Centre (opposite St Helen's pitch). It was really friendly and we had a nice cup of coffee.
The staff were extremely enthusiastic and I hope everything proves to be a great success!

Outside some people were also setting up a badminton site on the beach to supplement the watersports. I noticed two things; first was the wall outside the big window of the café which obstructed the view of the beach (couldn't it be replaced with railings or toughened glass?) and secondly, the cost to park the car outside for half an hour doubled the cost of the coffee (couldn't the parking charge be refunded when you have a coffee or a meal and stay for such a short time?)
When I mentioned these issues to the staff I was told: "That's owned by the council and we've been told we can't do that."

Come on Swansea Council, sometimes small issues can make a huge difference. isn't this venture exactly what Swansea needs? They certainly have my full support.

“Don't be so lazy. Park somewhere else and walk to the cafe. That's why you've got legs - for walking.”
