BUSINESS Minister Edwina Hart has said there has been strong progress in the development of Enterprise Zones in Wales.
The minister released a statement yesterday which confirmed actions taken by the Welsh Government and projects in the pipeline.
Mrs Hart said: "I launched the Enterprise Zone Business Rate Scheme earlier this month as a direct response to the recommendations of the Business Rates policy review.

"Overall, there has been strong progress in the development of our Enterprise Zones in Wales."
The minister will provide a further update in April and again in September, which will be the first anniversary of the Snowdonia and Haven Waterway Zones.

“How about a business enterprise zone near High Street Station? Swansea has a great location and living environment and I'm sure that some international companies would be interested to set up regional head offices here if the economic conditions were favourable.
In addition to creating new job opportunities, the additional footfall would bring much needed trade to the area and so help revitalize our beleaguered city centre.
With some imagination, a revamped Palace Theatre could be at the heart of a small, but iconic business district.
Worth a thought, Mrs Hart?”
