Bus drivers are heroes
A COUPLE of weeks ago First Bus asked the public to vote for the best driver. Nothing more has been read about the reward.
When I used the buses in days gone by we had a driver and conductor whom we knew by name. There was always a joke and rapport.
How can we vote for a driver today as their route is changed so often? We, the public don't get to know them.
All our bus drivers deserve a medal. Driving around the blocked up streets of Swansea, to me they are heroes, getting passengers home safely.
