The Bumbles of Mumbles and Mother's Day
THE very special Mother's Day dawned with bright blue skies, as Mr Sun tried his best to send his sunbeams down to make sure all spring flowers showed their pretty faces to him.
Causing a gentle perfume to fill the air and bright glorious colours from the snowdrops, crocus of mauve, yellow and white, along with daffodils in their bright yellow dresses to put a smile on the faces of everyone.

The Bumbles of Mumbles had been especially busy making Mothering Sunday cards to present to their Bumble Mums on this, their special day. Lillypop had just finished making her last batch of Welsh cakes that she, Dearlo and Toggler could present to their Bumble Mums.
"Thank you Lillypop!" declared Toggler as he placed them into a special seaweed basket he had made himself, for his gift to his Mother.

Lillypop blushed as she replied: "That's alright Toggler, it was a pleasure to share them with you, hope your mother enjoys!"
Lillypop placed her delicious Welsh cakes into a large seashell dish and set them out carefully, ready to present to her Bumble Mum.
As Dearlo wrapped his special treat up for his mum, he suddenly had a brilliant idea.
Clicking his fingers, which he always did when he had a splendid idea, he turned to Lillypop and Toggler saying: "When you visit your mothers today, will you ask them to please meet me on the sands of Oystermouth Beach?"
Lillypop looked at Toggler and shrugged as she replied to Dearlo: "Of course we can, but may we ask why?"
Dearlo winked, saying: "That is my secret and a surprise for yours and my very special mothers."
So it was that the three little Bumbles of Mumbles set off with their Mother's Day gifts, requesting that they return with them to the surprise Dearlo had planned for them.
Well, even you would have smiled as when Dearlo, Lillypop and Toggler's mothers all arrived at the sandy part of Oystermouth Beach, there before their eyes set out in sea shells were the words 'I Love You' inside two shaped hearts. The Bumbles of Mumbles mothers loved Dearlo Bumbles' surprise, as did Lillypop and Toggler.
If you visit the Mumbles on Sunday, look out for the special sea shell message not only for the Bumble Mums, but yours as well.
