GREAT excitement was happening all over the village of Mumbles as the annual Bumbles of Mumbles Easter Egg Hunt would soon be underway on the sands of Swansea Bay.

The Wizard of Oystermouth Castle had requested that Mr Sun would put in an appearance and shine his golden warm sunbeams down on the event, to make sure everyone felt happy on a sunshiny day.

Dearlo Bumble along with his good friends Lillypop and Toggler checked the area of sand that the Easter Egg hunt was to be held on and were dismayed at the amount of rubbish and junk that had been left on the sands, after the recent stormy weather.

Dearlo removed his limpet shell hat and scratched his head saying: "Gosh! just look at the amount of rubbish settled on the sands, we must make haste and clear it all off the beach, so that the Easter Egg hunt can take place safely."

Toggler and Lillypop agreed and rounded up lots of other Bumbles to come forth with their rakes, brushes and bags to put the debris in.

Toggler smiled as he had found a wheelbarrow and was delighted to help by filling it up with all manner of nasty broken glass and tins.

"Gosh! where has all this rubbish come from?" declared Lillypop a she wiped her brow, as she was getting really hot bending and planting rubbish into the refuse bags.

Dearlo sighed as he relied "I really don't know Lillypop, but we are making a difference.

"As well as making it safe for Baby Bumbles to hunt for the buried Easter Eggs," added Toggler.

The Wizard of Oystermouth Castle watched the proceedings from the turrets of the castle and smiled at all the good hard work being put in, by the Bumbles of Mumbles ready for the famous Easter Egg hunt.

Suddenly the Wizard spotted something very strange putting out their head from the incoming tide.

As he strained his eyes to see who it was, he was most surprised to see who the silent creature was, watching the proceedings to clean up the beach for the famous Easter Egg hunt.
