In their last game Brynawel beat Treboeth 2-0 with goals by Jack Austin and Billy Thomas, though the Treboeth keeper was in excellent form.
Treboeth United Under-10s, without the services of three defenders, were two goals down within three minutes against a well-drilled Port Tennant team.
But a spirited second half saw AJ Storton head in a Zak Connor corner to halve the deficit.
Connor then crossed low and hard but the ball was narrowly missed by Jamie Gibbs. Though an equaliser would have been deserved, Port Tennant had a host of chances to extend their lead.
Chaquile Collins was excellent at the back, blocking shot after shot, helped by Bradley Morgan and Kyle Steele, who was playing only his second game.
Nick Tooze made some important saves in goal and kept the score to a respectable 2-1.
Next up were Morriston Town — and Connor took the game by storm.
Straight from kick-off he dribbled past several opponents but lost balance as he was about to shoot. Then he created an opening for Gibbs, who could not connect.
Storton and Brandon Williams combined to put Gibbs clear again but a defender got back to block. Treboeth paid for these wasted opportunities as Morriston broke away and scored what proved to be the winning goal.
The second half saw Morriston camped in the Treboeth half looking for a second, but found keeper Tooze in fine form as he made three point-blank saves made in quick succession.
Andrew Toulcher had a chance to equalise late on but his shot was off target.
The final game of the day was against Dunvant.
Treboeth survived a lot of pressure in and around the area with Collins standing firm and Tooze stopping everything thrown at him.
Kyle Steele and Bradley Morgan also enjoyed a battle with their opponents.
In a rare attack, Toulcher was put clear by Brandon Williams but pushed his shot wide.
Then Tooze launched a long clearance which was helped on by Williams to Storton, who let fly from the edge of the area to give Treboeth a half-time lead.
The second half saw Dunvant fight back well as Treboeth tired. And they went on to enjoy a 3-1 victory.
