"I'm really looking forward to the new challenge at Glamorgan," Brown said.
"I'm impressed by the club's ambition and I'm confident I can help them achieve it.
"There is a great combination of young and older talent in the dressing room and I can't wait to be part of it."
Glamorgan director of cricket Matthew Maynard said: "David is a talented young player who has made some impressive contributions against Glamorgan and other counties in both first and second XI games in recent seasons.
"I'm delighted that he has agreed terms with us for 2010 and 2011 and I'm really looking forward to working with David and helping him to reach his full potential."
