Bradford City boss Phil Parkinson goes on Swansea City spying mission to Anfield
PHIL Parkinson liked what he saw on his spying mission to Anfield on Sunday — but the Bradford City boss expects an entirely different Swansea City performance next weekend.
Parkinson was on a scouting trip ahead of the Bantams' Capital One Cup final against the Swans, and he watched Liverpool trounce a much-changed Swansea side 5-0.

The manager of the League Two side expects Michael Laudrup's men to produce a far better display at Wembley, but he will be hoping to pile more misery on the Swans.
"There have been a few shocks this year. We have created a few ourselves," he said.

"But we have got enormous respect for Swansea.
"We have to accept that Swansea will have a lot of possession of the ball because they have 65 per cent of the ball against Premier League teams.
"We will have to play way above the level we normally play at and hope that Swansea have a really bad day to bring the teams closer together. If that happens then you never know."
Swansea were punished for their decision to make seven changes for the match against Liverpool and, when asked what he learned from his trip to Anfield, Parkinson admitted it was a limited amount.
"Not a great deal because they made so many changes. But it is always good to see your opponents live," he said.
"You can see Swansea are a good team. I know they got beat by a lot of goals, but they have had an outstanding season.
"We have also made changes in the last couple of games and Swansea have done the same. I don't think this scoreline will have any impact on next weekend's game.
"I just hope next weekend is a great occasion. There will be a Welsh-Yorkshire invasion at Wembley and it should be a terrific atmosphere.
"It's a big day for the cities of Bradford and Swansea. I'm sure it will be a special day."

“Well there you have it, was Michael deviously playing tactically by fielding an inexperienced side for Phil Parkinson, to take stock from at Liverpool, because I doubt very much if he gleaned any advantage by watching that match. When you looked at us playing it was obvious to see, we did not have a gelled team spirit on the pitch, yes we had good players that didn't perform on the day which is a bit of a surprise really, they have a weekly wage, they train together and know each other, so on that merit alone each one now owe Michael and Swansea City's special devoted away fans big time. I'm not including "The League" Cup here either.
