Boy injured after car accident in Newport
An 11-year-old boy suffered head injuries after being hit by a car in Newport.
He is currently in a critical but stable condition after being transferred to the University Hospital Wales.
The accident involving a grey Fiat Stilo car happened on Spytty Road, Newport, near Morrisons supermarket, at 3.20pm on Thursday.
Witnesses to the incident are asked to call Gwent Police on 101, or call the Collision Investigation Unit on 01633 642404.
