BOLTON Wanderers are back in for Ferrie Bodde — but Swansea City will demand up to £5million before any deal is done.

Bolton boss Gary Megson is a long-time admirer of Swansea's midfield playmaker.

But Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has laughed off talk of a £1.5m bid.

"I'm fully aware of speculation about Ferrie Bodde, but there has been no official offer," he said.

"I have had an indication from an agent that Bolton may be interested and Ferrie, like Jason Scotland, has come out in the press in the past to express his wish to play Premier League football.

"But both players are contracted to Swansea City and, from the speculation I have heard, the valuations being talked about fall way short of what we feel these two players are worth."

“The transfer window doesn't open until July 1st, and while fees can be agreed and pens put to paper, I don't think players can't be unveiled until the window officially opens. So I'm sure Anderson will be taking pictures with Sousa and answering questions about his new club soon enough.”

“Quite right, too, Sean from Llansamlet, I thought i was the only one not keen to promote online gambling.

Actually, the kids' shirts will have a different logo on, but they will still be able to see the ads for 32Red on adult shirts, so it's still exposing them to it.

I know the Swans have made a lot of money on this, but hardly, as you say, a family orientated company.”

“Looks like swansea have decided to make a bit of money on some of their star players. Nothing really wrong with that even though it doesnt sit very well from a supporters and potential season ticket holders point of view. What does sicken me though is the new sponser. I for one won't be buying a replica shirt for my 6 year old with an onlime gaming site as the new sponsor. 32 red is not the sort of company that i want subliminally ingrained into my son's psyche. I thought this was supposed to be a company that upheld family values. This just appears to be a complete sell out of those values”
