POLICE have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Swansea.

The dead man was found by a member of the public outside a house in Rodney Street at around 5.30am today.

A South Wales Police spokesman said: "An investigation has started to establish the circumstances of the death."

No more information is being released at this stage.

Passers-by say a tarpaulin has gone up outside the house and people are being asked to keep away.
