Birchgrove man, Paul Jeffrey Robinson, avoids jail
A BIRCHGROVE man who stole five pairs of women's jeans from a city centre shop has avoided a jail term.
Paul Jeffrey Robinson, 43, of Heol Dulais, admitted theft from Marks and Spencer on Oxford Street, Swansea, on February 8.
Robinson said he committed the offence after his relationship had broken down and he had decided to take a Valium to try to forget about it.
Simon Howell, representing Robinson, accepted his client had a significant record of previous offending and was on licence at the time of this offence.
