Dan Biggar ready to make his Ospreys return
DANIEL Biggar could lead the return of the Ospreys' Wales internationals when the Magners League champions look to complete an unbeaten pre-season this weekend.
Gloucester, 26-6 victors over the Scarlets four days ago, have sent a message of intent to the region by signalling their determination to improve an away record that saw them win only two games on the road in the English Premiership last season.

But the Ospreys have had an encouraging summer which they hope to round off with a convincing Liberty performance against the Cherry and Whites after successes against a Regional Select XV and Leeds.
Biggar is in line to be involved on Saturday despite featuring in both Tests for Wales against New Zealand earlier this summer, the second as a starter.
The Ospreys will see any role he plays as part of his pre-season programme and the same could apply to other players, among them Craig Mitchell.
''We will look at each case on its merits,'' said head coach Sean Holley. ''Dan is in contention to feature against Gloucester and so is Craig. We will take into account workloads and where players are at with their schedules, but of our internationals those two are being looked at closely for game-time.''
Biggar will hope to build on an outstanding season last term which culminated in the 20-year-old not just helping his team to the Celtic title but also finishing a double runner-up in the region's player-of-the-year awards. The Ospreys' players placed him second behind Jerry Collins, while the coaches had only Marty Holah in front of him.
With 298 points Biggar narrowly failed to become only the second Osprey to score 300 or more in a season, Gavin Henson having managed 318 in 2003-04.
He also contributed genuine tactical authority which grew as the campaign went on. ''We were very pleased with Dan,'' said Holley. ''I was also impressed with Dai Flanagan up at Leeds last weekend. He didn't miss a kick and showed some nice touches.
''For a debut, it was a particularly good effort.''
