Big Foot as real as crocodile in Pluck Lake, Swansea - apparently
AFTER more than five years of research and a spend of $500,000 analysing DNA samples, a group has claimed Bigfoot is completely real.
The DNA is from “an unknown hominin species” according to the Sasquatch Genome Project.
Dr Melba Ketchum presented the results at a news conference claiming their “serious study” of 111 specimens of skin, hair and blood from alleged Bigfoots (Bigfeet?) proved that the creature existed in North America.
“They’re a type of people, they’re a human-hybrid, we believe,” Ketchum told ABC affiliate WFAA.
“And all of the DNA evidence points to that. And they can elude us, so if you get [footage] at all, it can be fleeting.”
Ketchum and her crew also screened never-before-seen HD video of a reported Sasquatch that was filmed wandering through the woods in Kentucky.
Sadly, Ketchum's previous claims of Sasquatch DNA have been debunked by other scientists as being totally fabricated.
Perhaps you have more chance of seeing the crocodile suggested to be living in the Pluck in Swansea after all.
And if you needed reminded - here’s the crocodile in the Pluck story from 2008:
WATCH your ankles — a crocodile could be lurking in a Swansea lake!
Police and RSPCA officers were at Pluck Lake opposite Morrisons in Morfa yesterday after receiving a report of a crocodile there.
The caller, who raised the alert at around noon, was certain the creature was a crocodile and said it was about one metre long.
A police spokesman said: “If it is a crocodile, it is a freshwater one and it is only the saltwater ones that are a threat, the big massive ones.
“We went down and had a look. It is cold, and if it was a genuine call it could be an escaped pet — it’s not beyond the bounds of imagination.”
He said experts had told them that if a crocodile or alligator was out in the current temperatures, it could be lurking under the water.
He added: “It’s best not to go swimming.”
