Evans.  Over 200 hundred readers have

pledged their financial support in sponsoring 15-minute readings of a Bible in

a language of their choice in aid of match-funding for Cadwgan Castle

Preservation Trust.  A Cadwgan team led

by Rhian Medi Jones in close partnership with members of Cardigan's Soroptimist

International have been responsible for promoting and planning this round the

clock Bible reading which is expected to finish on Thursday evening; the last

three readers will be Cllr Gwynfi Jenkins, Cllr Mark Cole and Canon Seamus

Cunnane.

After the 2009 Cardigan Biblathon (in aid of Urdd Gobaith Cymru) a

reader expressed the feelings of many in saying ""Most of the time the Bible is being read at

us – the Biblathon gave us the chance of reading for ourselves – the

pleasure of reading in the peace of Tabernacl was a wonderful experience".

There are a few unsponsored time slots available.  Contact Rhian Medi Jones at the Castle Office - telephone 01239 615131.
