Ban is there for a reason
CONCERNING football in the street (Post, August 9), when we were kids there was less traffic and fewer gardens to worry about.
I have witnessed fences kicked in, cars damaged, gardens wrecked from kids jumping over walls for their ball.
Rugby and footballs kicked over the top of roofs by older boys and threats with bad language. Its always good for kids to play but in safety, in parks. Most estates have signs 'No ball games' because of the nuisance it has caused.
