MONTHLY car boot sales begin in Carmarthen from Saturday, June 5.

The PTFA (Parents Teachers and Friends Association) at QE High is aiming to raise £40,000 for the school's special needs unit, Canolfan Elfed.

The car boot sales are being run in conjunction with Derwen Antique Fairs and are one of may fundraisers being held in aid of the special unit.

The car boot sales will be held on the first Saturday of every month from noon to 4pm. Cars will be charged £5 and vans £7.
