BRIDGES ARE ONLY AREA OF CONCERN
FEW people are better placed to comment on the traffic flow in our city than Gerald Pickard who as well as being a rep for the Evening Post by day is a taxi driver by night.
Overall he is fairly happy saying: "Considering the amount of work that is going on on Swansea's roads I think that the council is doing quite a good job.
"They are well organised and for the most part they manage to keep the traffic flowing.
"The only area for concern is the new Tawe Bridges section in front of the entrance to SA1.
"They haven't managed to get that right you have traffic coming down Fabian Way, traffic coming out of town, traffic coming down the valley and traffic trying to get out of SA1 all at once during rush hour.
"If someone living in East Side wants to get to Parc Tawe they may as well forget it."
