BNP leader's tweets probed
DYFED-POWYS Police have become involved in an investigation about tweets posted by BNP leader Nick Griffin.
The force covers the area where Mr Griffin lives, in Newtown, Powys.
His comments on Twitter relate to the court case of a Christian woman in Cambridgeshire who refused to let two gay men share a double bed at her guest house.
A court ruled this week that the owner of the guest house, Susanne Wilkinson, had discriminated against the men because of their sexuality.

But Mr Griffin said the men, Michael Black and John Morgan, had "abused the system to persecute the owner".
He had earlier urged Twitter followers to hold a demonstration near the two men's home.
Dyfed-Powys Police are working with Cambridgeshire Police to see if the BNP leader has committed an offence.

“Griffin has said he thinks it's ok to discriminate, and i agree as far as the BNP are concerned lol. On a more serious note what's he's done is diabolical, and i just hope he gets the book thrown at him. Racism and sexism is totally unacceptable in this day and age, and we need to punish those who would hake us back to the 1950's.”

“It couldn't have been Griffin. Tweeting involves the use of opposable thumbs.”
