Assault on policeman
A LLWYNHENDY man has been handed a community order for assaulting a police officer.
Matthew Lane, 29, of Tir Einon in Cefncaeau, pleaded guilty to assaulting Richard Saunders, a constable in the execution of his duty, in Burry Port on July 24.
Magistrates handed Lane a 12-month community order, and imposed £150 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, plus £50 compensation.
