ASHLEY Williams  is not surprised by the success of Swansea City's three widemen — because he hates facing them in training.

Michael Laudrup deployed Pablo Hernandez, Nathan Dyer and Wayne Routledge in his starting side against Queens Park Rangers last weekend.

And, as had been the case when the trio began against West Brom in November, the opposition defence struggled to cope.

"When we play with the three little guys linking up like they did, it is very difficult for the opposition," reckons Williams.

"You don't want to face the three of them all together in training, let alone in a game situation.

"They are a big threat and ask a lot of questions of opposition defences.

"It's been a useful option for the manager this season, as we saw again against QPR.

"It was very similar to the West Brom game at home. Hopefully it will bring us more success."
