Arts Council funding for Comedy in The Kingsway
THERE will be some big laughs in The Kingsway tonight — thanks to the Arts Council of Wales.
Swansea YMCA has received funding from the Arts Council's Big Night Out initiative to run two nights of comedy — with the aim of making the night a permanent fixture.
First up in the Y So Serious Comedy night is Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Ivan Brackenbury, otherwise known as the world's most inappropriate hospital radio DJ with his radio show, 'Disease Hour'.
The show also features comedy from beyond the grave, with Ian D Montfort, spirit medium to the stars also appearing, bringing famous characters back to life. It begins at 7.30pm.
