Arrests in Swansea and Birmingham on suspicion of organised crime
Police have made arrests in Swansea and Birmingham this morning on suspicion of involvement in organised crime.
South Wales and West Midlands Police executed four warrants, and arrested two men and a woman in Swansea, who remain in custody.
Three men and two women will be brought to South Wales for questioning.
Officers were supported by the National Crime Agency and UK Border Agency.
A spokesman for South Wales Police said: “Due to the ongoing and sensitive nature of the operation no further details are available at this stage.”
