Archbishop of Wales backs campaign for corporate tax transparency
THE Archbishop of Wales is urging church-goers to support a campaign against corporate tax dodgers.
Barry Morgan has given his backing to a Christian Aid drive for greater transparency to uncover the often obscure ownership and tax arrangements of some firms.
He said: "No one likes paying taxes but they are the bedrock of a fairer and more equal society, both here in Wales and in developing countries. I urge churches across Wales to give active support to Christian Aid's campaign."
