Anti-hunt film to be screened
ANTI-HUNT campaigners in west Wales are screening a film about the experiences of hunt monitors — who follow hunts and keep an eye out for the welfare of the animals involved.
David Petersen, of St Clears, said the film, called A Minority Pastime, was "life-changing" piece of work.
He said: "I was given the opportunity to watch the latest edit of the film. It is simply superb.
"It is at the same time thought provoking, depressing, amusing and scathingly honest.
"It exposes the shocking behaviour of hunts, their masters and supporters, up and down the country.
"Any notion that hunting is decent and respectful will be dispelled by the brilliant film."
Hunting with dogs was banned in 2005 and Mr Petersen added that there was a campaign to repeal the law.
The film is being shown at 7pm on Wednesday, February 9, at the Balcony Room, Queen's Hall, Narberth.
Entry is free and donations are invited for West Wales Animal Aid.
