Animal set to fill vacant Quadrant unit
TRENDY fashion retailer Animal is to open its first Swansea branch in the Quadrant shopping centre.
The brand is to take over the lease of the unit formerly occupied by Barratts.

Work on fixtures and fittings at the site is currently underway, and the new store should be open in the next couple of weeks, creating new jobs.
It is the latest boost to Swansea's high street.
Yesterday, the Post exclusively revealed that fashion giant Zara will finally open its doors at the £20 million Princess Way shopping scheme in August.
Jobs at the new Zara store are already being advertised.
It will be the second store to open at the new complex, and follows in the footsteps of Slaters Menswear.
Quadrant manager Alan Wallace said he expected to announce deals for two of the empty shops "in the next couple of days".

“Re:Heather, Mwmbwls
Before you call anyone a "...prat...", try looking closer to home!
As you've been exiled from Harrow for some time now, you are now trying to carry favour to be 'adopted' Welsh by virtue of your Welsh spelling of Mumbles, when until recently, you have used the English spelling! What a 'Hippo-crite' (correct spelling in this case) you are!”

“Re: Heather from Mwmbwls
You are a 'Mobette'! Are you starring in the new Public Enemy film, in the lead (film title) role!?
With my reference to 'wisdom', note the name of Norman Wisdom! Is it true you consider a high IQ is a group of people waiting to be served on a Jumbo Jet!? You are such a silly woman!”

“Hush now Sarah, Sandfields, Swansea, go to the pub or something.
James Sheridan, Swansea, you mention "Mumbles mobsters"; oh dear I don't think you know anything about real mobsters do you, you daft little man.
But, thanks for acknowledging the "words of wisdom" from us Mumbles mobsters - much appreciated James, much appreciated.”

“Isn't there enough 'Animals' in Swansea when we have the Grunts and Snorts of Heather from Mumbles and her Mumbles Mob to contend with, when she (and her Mumbles Mobsters) write their 'words of (Norman!?) Wisdom' on this Website!?”

“Glad to know some oters are getting fed upo of the constant moaning on here!
From here on in I'm not going to even bother acknowledging Heather's comments except to say as long as she thinks I'm wrong/cheap/rude/tasteless I know I'm doing sometihng right. The day she agrees with me is when I know I've got problems!!!”

“WOW animal has come back to Swansea after failing in Killy and the Marina
The recession must really be hitting hard if failed stores have moved back in to try again, and they must have a reduced rent otherwise they wouldnt bother.
maybe the stores been given a cash insentive to come into the quadrant and make people believe Swansea is doing well?”

“the quadrant has always been a pleasant shopping cente to visit over the years but it's too small.
they could have extended the quadrant shops by building on the bus station or st davids or the old gasworks site where tesco is now.”
