Setting off on Friday, April 12, the route of 200 miles, from Holyhead to Mumbles, is expected to take the pair an estimated four days to complete.

Mr Jenkins said: "It sends a powerful message to other amputees that this is an activity that is very inclusive. We already have three lower limb amputees who have joined since we started the club just over a year ago. Our members are very supportive."
