Ammanford luxury car seat company Pullmaflex receives Welsh Government funding
AN Ammanford company which makes luxury seating systems for motoring giants Porsche and Ferrari has received £200,000 in grant aid from the Welsh Government.
Pullmaflex makes a range of seating systems, including back massage units, from its base at Parc Amanwy.
The company has invested £750,000 thanks to the latest cash injection in facilities and equipment, allowing it to ramp up production and target more mainstream markets as well as creating 15 jobs and safeguarding 16.
Business Minister Edwina Hart said she was pleased Welsh Government support was opening up additional opportunities for the firm. She said: "Pullmaflex has been making an important contribution to the regional economy since 1945 and it's good to hear this investment will not only safeguard and create new jobs but will help it manufacture products for a wider market.
