Amman up to second after beating Trebanos
TREBANOS suffered their first defeat in division two west when they lost 32-17 at Amman United.
Amman moved up two places to second, while Trebanos dropped to third.
Amman's scrum superiority laid the platform for victory, with prop Thomas Davies and flanker Shaun Mangan to the fore.
Amman scored four tries through wings Johnny Bevan and Dean Williams, along with Mangan, while scrum-half Joel Foster touched down an amazing 22-yard pushover try. The remaining points were kicked by Adrian Thomas.
For Trebanos, who trailed 20-7 at the break, centre Kristian Jones and wing Alun Sterl crossed and fly-half Sean Hamer landed both conversions and a penalty.
