Ambulance crews miss their targets
THE Welsh Ambulance Service has missed its response time target for the most serous calls for the 16th consecutive month.
Figures for last month show 62.9 per cent of ambulances arrived on time, up 1.1 per cent on August, but still short of the 65 per cent Welsh Government target.
Both Abertawe Bro Morgannwg and Hywel Dda health boards hit or exceeded the target.
Welsh Lib Democrat leader, Kirsty Williams, said: "Despite the best efforts of the hard working frontline paramedics, another month goes by and yet another health target missed by Welsh Labour."
