Alan Tate returns to Swansea City
ALAN Tate is back at Swansea City after his loan spell at Leeds United came to an end a week early.
Swansea's long-serving defender is back training with Michael Laudrup's squad after returning to Wales sooner than expected.

Alan Tate
The 30-year-old had been due to stay at Leeds until next weekend, and there were suggestions that he would then extend his stay until the end of the season.
But Tate, who had been a regular since joining the Elland Road club in November, is back at Swansea having been surprisingly omitted from the 18 when Leeds beat Bristol City last weekend.

Tate played in 11 of the 12 games he was eligible for during his spell at Leeds, and extended his stay when his original loan spell ended at the start of this month.
Leeds boss Neil Warnock sang Tate's praises during his time at the club, and he had been due to remain until January 26.
But he is now back in the Swansea fold and it seems his spell as a Leeds player is over.

“A golden oppurtunity for Alan to prove his capabilities and establish himself again as a championship player but like SCFC he is surplus to requirement at LUFC. There is no future for him at the liberty, and his testimonial at SCFC along with GM is this year. Alan needs to plan his future, albeit the lower leagues where he will be able to use his experience to help a team of his choice rise from the ashes like he did with the Swans. Thank you Alan for your commitment to Swansea City AFC.”
