Alan Tate: I hate Loftus Road!
ALAN Tate hopes Michael Laudrup will help Swansea City end their Loftus Road hoodoo after admitting: "I hate the place!"
Swansea will kick off their second Premier League season with a trip to Loftus Road on August 18 — and Tate concedes it is time they triumphed in West London.

The experienced defender has played at QPR four times in his Swansea career, with the sole positive result a 1-1 draw under Paulo Sousa in March 2010.
The other three games ended in heavy defeats, with Tate sent off in the 4-0 beating on Boxing Day 2010.

"I hate the place!" Swansea's vice-captain joked.
"We have struggled to get results at QPR and it would be great if we could change that in the first game under the new manager."
The QPR trip means Swansea will start a new season on the road for the sixth successive campaign.
Laudrup's first SA1 assignment is against newly-promoted West Ham on August 25.
"That will be another really difficult one because I think West Ham will be a strong side next season," Tate added.

“QPR fans hate the place as well. It's a dump.”
