Advice over fire safety

A PROJECT aimed at raising awareness of fire safety and mental health is taking place between 10am and 3pm today at St Peter's Civic Hall in Carmarthen.

The partnership between Mid and West Wales Fire & Rescue Service and the Hywel Dda Health Board is the first of its kind in Wales.

Its main aim is to prevent fires in the homes of those living with mental health conditions.

Free electric blanket testing, free carbon monoxide alarms, free smoke alarms and fire safety information will be available.
