Actress Jennifer Ellison in rescue drama near Anglesey
Actress Jennifer Ellison was rescued at sea today after the boat she was in suffered engine failure off Anglesey.
The volunteer crew sprung into action after the 16ft inflatable with Jennifer and husband Robbie Tickle on board began drifting towards Moelfre island at around 11.30am this morning.
The 30-year-old actress, from Liverpool, thanked the RNLI after the vessel was towed back to Moelfre beach.

Rescuer Anthony Barclay was touched they had taken the trouble to thank the RNLI via the social networking site, he welcomed the opportunity to meet the couple.
"At the time of the rescue we didn’t realise it was Jennifer on board, but after all the interest it has generated, I wanted to thank her for helping to raise awareness of the work of the RNLI charity and for showing her gratitude to the RNLI crew," he said.
"They had the misfortune of suffering engine failure whilst out sea fishing but were towed back in without any complications.
"We’re always happy to help when the call comes and never know quite what situation we may face."
Ms Ellison is perhaps best known for playing Emily Shadwick in Brookside, and her appearance in the 2004 film adaptation of The Phantom of the Opera.
