Accused of knife threat attempt
A PLASMARL man has appeared in court after allegedly driving to his ex-partner's house with a knife to confront her and a male friend.
Corin Leon Davies, of Trewyddfa Road, is said to have driven to Clydach after being tipped off that his former partner had been out for the night and had returned home with a man she knew.
It is the Crown's case that the 26-year-old drove down the street where she lived shouting at his ex, while she hid behind parked cars.
Davies, who was represented by Jon Tarrant, entered no pleas to four counts during a hearing at Swansea Magistrates Court yesterday — a public order offence, possessing a Class B drug, possessing an offensive weapon and possessing a bladed article.
Davies — who appeared in custody — was further remanded into custody and jurisdiction in the matter was transferred to Crown Court, where he will appear on September 3.
