Accident closes the A4067 Swansea Valley road
THE main Swansea Valley road is closed this afternoon following a traffic accident.
The emergency services are at the scene of the incident on the A4067 between Abercrave and Pen-y-Cae.The accident involved two vehicles, but the extent of any injuries is not yet known.
A spokeswoman for Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: "We received reports of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles which has blocked the carriageway. The emergency services are in attendance."
It is not known for how long the road will remain closed.
