AMs called back to vote on regulations
ASSEMBLY Members are being recalled to the Senedd during the Christmas recess for a vote.
The National Assembly's presiding Officer Rosemary Butler has called them back on December 19.
The decision follows a request from the First Minister to consider two sets of regulations as a matter of urgent public importance.
They are: the draft Council Tax Reduction Schemes and Prescribed Requirements (Wales) Regulations 2012; and the draft Council Tax Reduction Schemes (Default Scheme) (Wales) Regulations 2012.

"In deciding to summon the Assembly on December 19, I am seeking to balance the calls for these Regulations to be considered as a matter of urgency with the need to provide sufficient time for them to be properly scrutinised," she said.
"I would like to thank my Deputy, David Melding, who has indicated he will do all he can to ensure his committee scrutinises and reports on the revised Regulations in advance of the debate."
