37-stone Les Price told to buy two plane seats - but they are in different parts of the aircraft
A 37-STONE man told he had to buy two plane tickets because of his size was shocked when he found the seats were in different parts of the aircraft.
Les Price, from Brynithel, Gwent, was already unhappy when he was told by the airline, which has not been named, that anyone weighing more than 20 stone had to purchase more than one seat.
But the 43-year-old told Metro: “When I got to the airport I had to explain to all the staff why I had two tickets.”
‘They didn’t have a clue. When I finally got on the plane one was an aisle seat and the other was by the window – in a three-seat row.
“On the way back from Ireland one seat was in row 17 and the other in row 19.”
Mr Price said he was trying to lose weight and was attending an NHS weight management clinic.
