21-year-old in court accused of throat slashing
A 21-YEAR-OLD accused of slashing a man's throat has appeared in court.
Anthony Kerry Jason Rice, of Gomer Road, Townhill, is charged with "unlawfully and maliciously wounding Rzgar Kadr Aga with intent to do him grievous bodily harm".
Rice is yet to enter a plea as the charge is so serious it can only be dealt with at Crown court.
City magistrates heard the offence was alleged to have happened between Northampton Lane and Craddock Street in Swansea at around 4.35am on August 29.
Andrew Evans, defending, made no bail application on Rice's behalf.
He was remanded into custody and will next appear for a preliminary hearing at Swansea Crown Court on September 10.
