207 solar panel plan
PLANS to site more than 200 solar panels on a Login farm have been submitted to planners.
The application, made by Cornish renewable energy company e-tricity trading Ltd of Bodmin, is to site the panels at Maenhir farm.
The 207 panels, arranged in three rows, are expected to generate 50 kilowatts of electricity and would be sited in a field 50 metres west of the farm.
The panels will provide energy for the farm with any surplus sold to the National Grid.
A report for planners states: "The proposal will be glimpsed from some public vantage points; however, it is not considered that the small area of photovoltaic modules will be visually prominent."
The application will be considered at a later date.
