2,000 enjoy museum craft market
NEARLY 2,000 visitors and exhibitors flocked to Swansea's National Waterfront Museum for a craft market.
Organised by Smock Vintage, the event, billed as a kitchen table talents and vintage nostalgia market, brought together a range of craftsmen and women. "It was a busy day," said museum gallery assistant Hannah Lawson.
"There was a really nice atmosphere - very creative.
"Our door figures for Saturday were over 1,800."
On sale were bags, jewellery, cards, glassware, clothes, shoes, embroidered pieces, cup cakes, savoury snacks, furniture, cushions and quilts among other things.
The next Smock Vintage event at the museum is due to take place on December 7.
