18-year-old punched a teenage boy, breaking his nose
AN 18-YEAR-OLD punched a teenage boy, breaking his nose after the underage teen had asked him to buy him alcohol in a Swansea Valley club.
Craig Grey, 18, admitted causing actual bodily harm at Swansea Magistrates' Court but the court was told the defendant has a high-functioning type of autism which may have triggered his actions.
The victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, approached Grey, of Llygad yr Haul, Neath, as he waited at the bar of Pontardawe Football Club and asked the older boy to buy him an alcoholic drink, but Grey refused.
The pair were at a party on August 17 when the incident happened, the court was told.

Grey walked away and went to stand with his friend, but then returned to the victim and threw a single punch, breaking his nose.
The victim needed his nose to be reset, the court heard.
Vince Williams, for Grey, told the court Grey has Asperger's — a type of autism. He said his client does not like being touched, and on that night, the victim had approached Grey and was "badgering him".
He said the victim then touched Grey, who reacted with a single blow.
He said he accepted there were aggravating features but asked for a report to be prepared by the probation service.
Judge Vivian Manning-Davies said: "I have come to the view I need some medical evidence in your case because it's not an easy case to deal with."
He gave Grey unconditional bail and told him to return to court on February 7.
